The cold in winter may cause some real havic when it comes to your skin, creating dry, scaly, looking skin – particularly on your hands. Another winter issue is the fluctuating temperatures that we experience throughout the day – the warmth of you home to the frigid cold, back into a shopping mall that has the heat pumping like there is no tomorrow, and then back out to the cold. These fluctuation can disturb the skin’s balance making it difficult for it to regenerate as fast as it needs to. The result is flaky, dull looking, dry skin.
One way of dealing with this is to exfoliate, and remove the dead skin cells. What you need is a facial scrub like Kyoku for Men Exfoliating Facial Scrub. Facial scrubs have a grittiness to them that help scrub away the dead skin.
Every couple of days you take a small amount of the facial scrub, apply it to your wet face using circular motions, scrub lightly for about 30 seconds and rinse. You can of course exfoliate the rest of your body, but you may want to consider using a loofah sponge or pumice stone for those areas.
