Fine Accoutrements Snake Bite Aftershave Review

The number of complements I received after using Fine’s Orange is one of the reasons I decided to pick up Fine’s Snake Bite aftershave. People seemed to really enjoy the scent (which lasted quite long for an aftershave), and I really enjoyed using it. Another reason for picking this up was the marketing.

Marvis Cinnamon Mint Toothpaste

About a month back I picked up a small tube of Italian made Marvis Cinnamon Mint toothpaste. I was a few dollars short of free shipping so I tossed it in the cart, curious as to what a ‘premium’ toothpaste would do for me.

Fine Accoutrements “L’Orange Noir” Aftershave Review

Marketers love people like me. I’m a sucker for great packaging. Whether it’s exciting, novel, or in the case of Fine Accoutrements “L’Orange Noir” aftershave – classic. I’ll admit that the main reason for picking up one of Fines Aftershaves was the bottle that it came in. Blaviar Sigma Eau de Cologne After-Shave Balm

One of the great things about running this blog is the exposure that it provides me to a variety of products that I would have otherwise not have come across. The most recent that I have been using is Blaviar’s Epsilon Eau de Cologne After-Shave Balm. I received a bottle a complementary bottle and I have been getting a feel for it over the last couple of weeks.

Ogallala Bay Rum and Vanilla Aftershave & Pre-Shave

I have been using Ogallala’s Bay Rum and Vanilla aftershave, pre-shave, and skin toner for over a week now. The second multi-purpose product I have used in as many weeks (see last week’s review). Like last week’s review I was really pleased with the results, but this week the results were also met with more than a few comments ranging from “fuck, you smell good” to “are you drinking a chai latte”and another simply saying “cloves”.

Baxter of California Shave Tonic

Up until just a few weeks ago I didn’t really have much of a pre-shave ritual outside of a warm wet cloth after a shower to prep my face for the arrival of my blade. Then my buddy Mike was having some issues with skin irritation and we got to talking about shave prep so I broke out some Proraso pre-shave cream I had in my cabinet and used that with surprisingly happy results, then moved on to Oscar’s Oil which also provided a much better than usual outcome for my shave, and now over the past week of having used Baxter of California Shave Tonic I would have to say that my pre-shave routine from here on in will also include some form of pre-shave cream, oil, or tonic.
